Tribute To The Returned Servicemens League and Legacy this ANZAC Day 2011

Last update Monday, 12 September 2011 - will be inserting the New Zealand ANZAC day websites in here later

Well another ANZAC Day coming up this year and so I thought I'd put up an ANZAC Day POST.  The original ANZAC Day was for those who served in the first world war (WWI) of 1914 - 1918.  However now ANZAC Day commerates those who served after WWII but the legends of the ANZACS still lives on.

What is ANZAC Day in accordance with AWM - On their websites it will tell you all about them.

This advert had been advertising on TV called Raise A Glass Appeal - RSL and Legacy

About Us:  Legacy -

Legacy is a voluntary organisation supported by veterans, servicemen and women, and volunteers drawn from all walks of life. Our support and services now extend to include the dependants of members of today's Australian Defence Force who lose their lives as a result of their military service.

"It's because of them we live the life we do today! Lest We Forget this ANZAC DAY 2011 and for the generations to come" - as quoted by Wendy Seymour,Wednesday, 20 April 2011 on Facebook

ANZAC Day Poster 2011 - The poster commemorating the Battle for Greece and Crete features an image of four Australian soldiers at the Acropolis while on leave in Athens.  The soldiers arrived in Greece in time to see some of the sights before joining the people of Greece and Crete in the fight for their country.
